It's not just that. The amulets & rings are in bought with gold, because the gold will variate a lot more between the 3 races.

The one who wins the CW = Gets cheaper accessories.
The one who lost = Gets expensive accessories.

For the winner, it's always an economical boost!
That makes it sometimes harder to obtain, but you need to know your currency, that's all ;)
