M.A.U. - Massive Armor Unit Credit Goes To Kino

The
M.A.U. is the Bellato's heavy armored artillery in the intensive battle
to gain supremecy over the mines of the galaxy. These mechanical units
are piloted by those that have achieved "Driver" status upon their 2nd
profession change. The MAUs provide unimaginable shielding and armor
against lethal attacks and have the ability to provide some of the
highest damage throughput in the game.
_____________________________________________

to use a M.A.U. you must meet these requrements

1. You must have the Driver Class (obtained @ level 30).

2.
You must purchase an MAU ignition key from the UNIT NPC. It costs
roughly ~1 Million Dalent. There are 2 types of keys you can purchase,
one for Goliath and one for Catapult. You can have more then one
ignition key in your inventory at any time, and can summon either but
not both simutaneously.

3. You use the ignition key like a summon.

___________________________
Restrictions when using a M.A.U

1. You cannot gain XP while using a MAU. You only level your UNIT PT.

2. Upgrades cost money, requires a certain UNIT PT and Character Level.

3. You must be a Driver Class for your 2nd class change/profession.

4. PvP kills while using a MAU do count towards your PvP fame.

5. Both the Goliath and Catapult requires ammunition to attack.

6. A maximum of 4 ignition keys are allowed in your inventory at any given time. You cannot summon more then one at a time.

7. Stamina is unlimited you always move at the same rate[very slowly] unless you use a golath with a booster

8. Armor Riders have reduced damage repair costs.

9.
When the HP of your M.A.U hits zero it is destroyed you may not repair
it. You must buy a new one and then upgrade it all over again.
_________________________________________________
Types of Mau

There
are 2 types of M.A.U. configurations: Goliath & Catapult. The
Goliath is armed with close-range combat blades that are capable of
tearing apart even the most heavily armored units in the game. The
Catapult is equipped with LRMs (Long Range Missles) that provide the
Bellato army with a tactical advantage in large-scale battles.

__________________________________________
Level 40

A
Bellato Driver that advances to Armor Rider at level 40 has the ability
to upgrade to the Advanced Goliath Configuration, or Catapult
Configuration. These are much more powerfull but not over the top.
________________________________

M.A.U. - Ammunition

As
mentioned above, both the Goliath and Catapult MAU configurations
require ammunition to fire or attack. Below are some ammunition types
that are available. Each type of ammunition has its unique
characteristics such as attack damage, attack speed, cooldown, range,
etc. You can purchase the ammunition from the UNIT NPC.

don't LOOK FOR THESE RIGHT OFF THE BAT YOU CANT FIND THEM
later on u gain access to all types of ammo

The Light Energy ammo provides the Goliath MAU high attack speed but low attack power.

The Normal Energy ammo provides the Goliath MAU a balance between attack speed and power.

The Hydrogen Energy ammo provides the Goliath MAU high attack power but low attack speed.

Ammo is consumed everytime the MAU attacks, regardless if it is a hit or miss.

Deployment

to
deploy your M.A.U. move away from the Unit NPC and right click on the
key in your bag (or press the corresponding F/Number key if you have
the key on your bar.)
This will deploy your MAU infront of / next to you. Now if you press Ctrl and
left
click on the MAU you will have a menu popup (like the player menu) and
select Ride or Riding from the menu, you will now get into your MAU and
be driving it!

_________________________
Inside your M.A.U.

When in an M.A.U. you will see this in the bottom right hand corner of your screen

1st
button shows your ammo in your main weapon only will show a max of 1k
if you have an ammo rack it will auto reload untill you have no ammo
left

2nd button shows your ammo of your sub weapon don't worry
about this for a while you don't get it till rather late when using a
mau look at the list at the bottom for exact time

3rd button is used to get out of your M.A.U. don't worry if it wont let you get out at times just move and try again

_________________________________________________
Storing your M.A.U.

To put your M.A.U. away (so it cant be damaged):
Ctrl
and left click on it and select store from the M.A.U. menu, this will
store your M.A.U. safely so it cant be destroyed whilst your not
in/using it.

If you do not store your M.A.U. and leave it out,
it can still be summoned from where it is but a prompt will appear
saying your M.A.U. has been towed and you have to pay the towing fee,
which is around 12,000 varying again, on your races tax rate

I think I've seen this tutorial elsewhere. Please give proper credit to the original creator!
We don't want to end up stealing tutorials from others without asking or giving credits.
Like darn RF Equilibrium does! The only honest servers left are RFPOA & RF Tactical, don't ruin this please.
I'd prefer you'd make a tutorial based on your own ideas & thoughts.

Please change it, give proper credit or remove it!
Reply back here if you want to request it being deleted.

Don't do this again! Don't steal any tutorial at all please

Please specify who Kino is.
We can't just guess randomly Blank Stare
There could be trillions of Kinos out there. the internet is huge!

Giving a link to where it was originally created would be great.
But remember, you can't link to private servers! or use any content taken from them without asking for permission personally.
I don't want this forum to be flamed stealing tutorials like RF Equilibrium does Shaking Fist

I see what you're trying to do Donix, and I appreciate it, but...

It's nothing really, It's just that I'm not on a good mood at the moment.
And i hate those who doesn't read the rules and constantly breaking them!
It's not my fault he doesn't read & respect the rules... I'm tired of reminding all the time.

Let's not go off-topic shall we? End of discussion.
Arcane, if you don't enforce the rules into that darn topic I'll move it to the garbage
