What will you do in preparation for the wipe?

Well, since there has been a talk of a wipe soon, I was wondering if anyone is going to grind hardcore as before? Or are you guys going to save your grinding energy until after the wipe?

Warzone's going to wipe out too? if only Tactical will wipe out then ill go back to warzone. if they both going to wipe then i will not play RF anymore!! =)

I guest, they must do the tactical first as a test server.. then be followed by warzone51.
BUt joker said.. he will not touch the system of server if he update it again...
so NO deleting of chars. probably...

Joker(Admin) will install a new 2.2.1 server for all of us to enjoy.
As far as I know, you can't move the old characters to the new server, if it was possible you couldn't get to lvl 60 xD
So that's why there will be a wipe.

At least that's what the other Russian GMs told me ;)

thats why u make a special add on in the patch to allow lvl 55 toons to get to lvl 60 :P

They are professional, thats probably why. but this is just a private server, with no paid professionals. Everything lies within the abilities of the owner and whatever people he can hire with little or no salary. And I have to say he's doing pretty damn good.

But...

They didn't move the characters, they restored them one by one... do you know how much work that requires? >.<

Oh and all restored characters got absolutely nothing, just their lvls & probably gimped.
They got no items, money, weapons, armors etc... what's the point in doing the same on this server if you only get your character with no items at all?

if "joker" and his team can make all these spifie items yada yada yada they would atleast lernt how to transfer account from 1 server base to another server base.... av seen it been done and the account had everything on it. (not talking about CCR this time)

but personly Wipe from my point is a scheme to steal more money from people
"WIPE" is the easyest way to make people buy stuff again :/

I agree with you Deaths1, but transferring characters that way might cause errors.
I remember RPoA was trying to do it, but they failed... so they wiped everything instead.
But I think RFE succeeded to do it :P (not advertising here)

Anyway, if you where referring to transferring characters from a 2.1.5 server to another 2.1.5 server, then it's apiece of cake.
But transferring them to a whole different server version is another story.

after the wipe will we get are donation points back or do we have to redonate for em?

i sugest that all characters in old version of RFT and transfer to 2.1.5 is just like a jigsaw puzzle coz i made a differences of data base patch of 6.0 patch and 2.2.1 patch in my 2 computer unit its just disame coz 2.1.5 have new look new gadgets and many more.. its disame data 6.0 patch and 2.1.5 patch and more add ons like lvl 60 Yellow (destroyable) MAU ^^v

CCR only can possibly do it ))) wiping chars are not in there vocubolary...like they have do on rfo ph,, they update the server 2.2.1 came from 2.1.5(like warzone).. without touching the system of server and enable them to succesfully transfer all chars...

server is gona wipe. once joker makes a 2.2.1 server or that he won't go back because he will be losing out in "money gaining"
